Our Wedding Day

I've been wanting to start a blog for quite some time, and last week, the one and only David Matthew Fiser sent our wedding photos, so we're already off to a good start!

To some, you'll look through these photos may see that everything about our wedding day wasn't perfect. Our house was a mess the entire month leading up to the wedding day, and to save money, we hosted our rehearsal dinner at home the night before. Wedding crafts were crammed in closets and corners all over the house, etc. etc. BUT, we both knew going into June 13 that we wanted to host a special and meaningful day.

Yes, details like table linens, flowers, and food mattered, but not in comparison to the details that will live with us for years to come. Personalized vows, a Vietnamese tea ceremony, held in our backyard and hosted by my uncle, an American ceremony, officiated by Lance's cousin, blessings we received from our parents and my grandmother, our closest friends and family surrounding us as we danced our first dance. Those are the details that made June 13, 2015 so special.

And the dancing? That was pretty damn special, too :)

A very special thanks to all of our friends who helped make our day what it was. We love you all!
